Bofrid

Bofrid is a housing platform that helps tenants and landlords find one another, with listings spanning Sweden and a broader European rental search. Tenants can browse available apartments and houses, set up searches based on location, budget and room count, and apply directly to properties. The platform also matches them with private landlords who have homes in their chosen areas, without requiring a housing queue or queue time. Searching, applying and communicating with candidates are free for tenants.

Landlords and property owners can create listings at no charge, promote their homes and connect with people seeking housing nearby. They can review applicant backgrounds and choose whom to contact; tenant profiles are verified using BankID or an approved ID. Bofrid features both private rentals and first-hand homes offered directly by property owners, alongside a range of properties, sizes, locations and rental terms. Optional premium listings give landlords additional reach, while core services remain accessible without forced subscriptions or paywalls.
