Artemis is a network of volunteer-run, nonprofit archery clubs working together to promote the sport across Austria. With more than 17 facilities and locations in Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland, and Styria, it welcomes beginners and experienced archers alike. The clubs offer opportunities for children from age 10, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities, with activities ranging from recreational participation to competitive sport.

Members and newcomers can explore indoor, outdoor, field, and 3D archery, using a wide range of bow styles, from traditional selfbows to modern compound bows. Artemis provides introductory sessions, training, courses, and access to qualified coaches; equipment needed for instruction is supplied free of charge. Members can use Artemis facilities and join visits to 3D and field courses.

The organization also takes part in national and international competitions and hosts tournaments, including regional championships and events held under World Archery and IFAA rules. Through its clubs, training, facilities, and events, Artemis aims to share the enjoyment of archery and support athletes at different levels.
