BOHORY

BOHORY is an independent cartographic studio based in Ostrava, Czechia, creating distinctive wall maps and printed sweatshirts inspired by mountains, cities and landscapes. Its designs are built from real geographic data, including data from the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre, LiDAR, digital terrain models and open map sources. Rather than using generated imagery, BOHORY develops each design’s colors, layers and typography directly from the underlying data, giving every map its own visual character.

The collection includes trail, city and landscape maps, with examples featuring the Beskydy Mountains, Žďárské vrchy, Czechia and cities such as Brno, Plzeň and Olomouc. Customers can also choose sweatshirts themed around activities such as climbing, flying, hiking and travel, or request custom designs. Maps are printed in Ostrava with pigment inks on poster paper; sweatshirts made from certified organic cotton are printed using direct-to-garment technology. Products are designed and produced locally, then shipped in protective packaging, with delivery available through Zásilkovna pickup points.
