Bohumínská Modelová Železnice is a railway-modelling association and family-friendly visitor centre in Bohumín, Czech Republic. Its members are railway enthusiasts and model makers who are creating an extensive model railway in TT scale, 1:120. The centre invites families with children, schools, kindergartens, model makers and railway fans to enjoy the miniature trains and explore the detailed, original buildings and scenes around the layout.
Visitors can watch the trains in operation or try their hand at controlling them, offering an engaging introduction to how a model railway works. The venue also includes a small café and a relaxed lounge designed in the style of a railway carriage, as well as a play area with toys for younger children. These features make it a welcoming place for both railway enthusiasts and families seeking a calm outing.
The association also sells paper models and welcomes support and new members. Its “Vláčkovna” opened in June 2023 and operates on weekends.
