Bois et papier

Bois et Papier is a small artisan workshop founded by Dominique Fabritz, based in Rencurel in the Vercors region of France. Inspired by the surrounding landscape and a longstanding passion for woodworking, the brand creates handmade wooden games, puzzles, decorative objects and personalized pieces. Its range includes portraits, figurines and items such as animal decorations, trays and trivets. Each creation is made individually in the workshop, from a raw board through to its finished surface, so pieces are unique rather than mass-produced.

The work is carried out by hand using a scroll saw, without laser cutting or large-scale production machinery. Each piece is carefully colored, dried and varnished in several coats, with sanding between applications. Bois et Papier aims to use locally sourced wood from the Vercors forests where possible, and its products are made in France in the Rhône-Alpes region. The workshop offers customers distinctive, carefully finished creations intended as toys, gifts and home décor, and invites inquiries about its handmade designs.
