Bokang Kelepa

Bokang Kelepa is a mining engineer, mining-technology entrepreneur, speaker, moderator, and strategic advisor working at the intersection of mining, innovation, leadership, and future-readiness. With more than 18 years of mining experience, he helps organisations understand industry disruption and respond to change with practical, people-centred approaches. His work covers the future of mining, technology adoption, digital transformation, leadership in uncertain environments, collaboration, workforce capability, and organisational readiness.

Kelepa is the founder of Innovation in Mining, formerly 4IR in Mining, a platform that brings mining leaders, operators, regulators, academics, suppliers, and future talent together to discuss innovation, skills, and the sector’s future. The platform has developed from an industry seminar into a conference focused on moving beyond technology awareness toward safe and practical implementation.

He offers keynote speaking, panel moderation, and strategic advisory services for conferences, leadership sessions, mining events, innovation summits, graduate programmes, and organisational initiatives. His advisory work supports transformation, capability development, leadership, collaboration, and industry positioning.
