Boks Zabierzów

Bokserski Klub Sportowy SMOK–Zabierzów im. Andrzeja Firsta is a boxing club in Zabierzów with roots in the Krakowska Szkoła Sportowa SMOK, which has operated in boxing and kickboxing since 1994. Founded in 2017 by coach Grzegorz Zbroja, the club promotes physical fitness among children, young people and adults through participation in Olympic sport, combining athletic training with educational and developmental aims.

The club welcomes both beginners and experienced boxers, with enrolment open on an ongoing basis. Training builds general fitness and prepares participants for boxing techniques requiring precision, speed and strength. Sessions include partner and coach pad work, sport sparring, and practice with specialist equipment such as punching bags, speed bags and focus pads. Athletes train and prepare for competitions at the modern Centrum Boksu i Kickboxingu, a sports hall adapted for combat sports. The club also provides information about its coaches, class schedule, boxing and how to get started, helping prospective members find suitable training. It is part of a broader sporting tradition that includes both boxing and kickboxing.
