About Bold Tendencies
Bold Tendencies is a not-for-profit arts organization established in 2007. Located in the rooftop spaces of Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park in South London, it has transformed a disused building into an innovative civic space. Over the past 16 years, Bold Tendencies has supported artists in developing their ideas and realizing site-specific projects.
They have commissioned over 128 visual art works and produced an award-winning live program featuring music, dance, opera, and live readings. Not only does Bold Tendencies offer a rich, experimental program, but it also welcomes everyone to enjoy public space in the city. With over 2 million visitors in 16 summer seasons, it has become a beloved place of assembly for both the neighborhood and the wider community.
