Boleto Gutting Machine

Boleto is a Danish supplier of process equipment and turnkey systems for fish-gutting operations, serving producers of both farmed and wild-caught fish. Founded by Leif Thomsen in 1972, the company developed its first trout gutting machine and has since sold more than 400 machines, primarily in Europe. Today, Boleto is managed by Henrik Thomsen and Peder Pedersen, who oversee production, project planning, equipment development, and maintenance.

Drawing on decades of experience, Boleto advises customers from initial analysis through implementation, creating complete gutting lines tailored to their requirements. Its equipment supports the processing of trout, sea bass, sea bream, Arctic char, herring, and mackerel. Products include made-to-order fish gutting machines, inspection sinks designed for ergonomic work, fish vats with gravity-fed outlet chutes, and elevation conveyor belts for filling vats from floor level. Boleto offers both standard machinery and customized solutions. Its gutting machines are built to suit the fish type and size specified by each customer, with the company reporting that less than 0.5 percent of fish are damaged during the gutting process.
