About Bologna Children's Book Fair
BolognaBookPlus (BBPlus) is the brand extension of Bologna Children's Book Fair, dedicated to general publishing, and organized in collaboration with AIE - Associazione Italiana Editori. The 2024 edition, which will be its fourth, will feature exhibition spaces, training events on the role of literary agents and scouting, rights, and self-publishing, as well as a showcase of the international versions of Orwell's "1984" book covers and a display of the "Best of the Best" book covers. Inaugurated in 2023, the Honor Market hosted Greece.
The conference program will once again offer in-depth training on rights sales, representation and author scouting, writing, and self-publishing. In 2024, a new Audio Forum will be added to the established Literary Translation Forum, in collaboration with Beat Technology.
