Bombed Out Records is a dedicated non-profit DIY record label based in the UK, with roots in Leeds and Harrogate. Established in 1998, the label burst onto the scene with the release of its first record featuring Joe Ninety, followed closely by Dugong's debut. Founded by Steve Jackson and Alex Hurworth, Bombed Out was created to support local talent overlooked by mainstream labels, cultivating a close-knit “Bombed Out family.
” The label has since showcased a variety of punk, indie, and hardcore bands, including Remainderfour, The Leif Ericsson, and The Dauntless Elite. Despite the challenges of the ever-evolving music industry, including the decline in physical sales, Bombed Out Records remains committed to its mission of promoting music with integrity and passion. The label’s catalog reflects a diverse range of sounds and styles, offering music lovers the chance to explore the underground scene while supporting local artists.
