Bomberos Argentina

The National System of Volunteer Firefighters of the Argentine Republic coordinates and supports Argentina’s volunteer firefighting network. Its members provide first response to emergencies around the clock, every day of the year, serving communities through voluntary and professional work. The system comprises more than 58,000 volunteer firefighters, over 1,100 fire associations, and 29 provincial federations.

The organization connects national, provincial, and local bodies, and shares information about operations, authorities, regional structures, and national brigades. Its website also provides access to legislation, funding information, hierarchical ranks, protocols, management reports, and details about the National Insurance program. News, press resources, a magazine, a podcast, and weekly reports help keep firefighters and the public informed.

Through its Community Purchasing area, the system works to strengthen relationships with suppliers and create opportunities for the network. It also promotes volunteer recruitment and shares information about training and specialist activities, including search, location, and mountain rescue. Based in Buenos Aires, the organization serves as a central source of information for Argentina’s volunteer fire service.
