Bom Jesus

Colégio Bom Jesus is a Brazilian educational institution with 130 years of history, serving 26,000 students across 37 units in five states. Its schools provide education from early childhood through high school, as well as special education. The Bom Jesus approach combines academic excellence, socioemotional development, and Franciscan values, with an emphasis on helping students build autonomy and pursue their individual life goals.

Teaching draws on contemporary methodologies and learning materials developed by the institution’s Center for Studies and Research. Students encounter playful, exploratory learning in early childhood, inquiry and problem-solving in elementary years, and preparation for further study and careers in high school. The school also offers bilingual education, internationalization initiatives, scientific research, and digital learning integrated into its curriculum.

Bom Jesus supports students’ physical and emotional well-being through its School Health Department, which includes more than 80 health professionals and promotes socioemotional skills development. Its programs and initiatives also include Franciscan values education, community engagement through Bom Jesus Social, and vestibular preparation.
