Bonanza at the Border

Bonanza at the Border is a charity golf and networking event organized by Nexus Caritas Opus, Inc. (NCOI), a 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization created to raise funds for people in need. The tournament brings together participants from the commercial real estate industry to enjoy competitive golf, strengthen existing relationships, build new connections, and support charities of their choice.

The 2026 event is scheduled for October 28–30 at Black Jack’s Crossing Golf Course at Lajitas Golf Resort in Texas. Teams of two will play 36 holes, with a two-man scramble in the first round and a two-man shamble in the second. Up to 30 teams will compete across three flights, with flight winners, runners-up, and a wild-card team advancing to a shootout for the overall championship. Teams compete for prize money benefiting their selected charities, with a stated combined purse of up to $100,000 for a full field. Entry includes golf, food, and drinks; travel and accommodation are the participants’ responsibility.
