Bonbonniere

Bonbonniere Chocolates is a Shrewsbury-based artisan chocolatier founded by Melanie Fallon, whose early experiences helping her father at food fairs inspired a lifelong interest in confectionery. After a 20-year career in nursing and hospital management, Melanie returned to her passion and built a business making luxury handmade chocolates. Her work has received recognition, including a Diamond Award from the Heart of England Fine Foods Awards, and her chocolates have been exported to Belgium. Based in the West Midlands, Melanie and her team produce up to 8,000 chocolates a week.

Alongside its handmade chocolates, Bonbonniere offers experiences for adults and children, including daytime chocolate-making workshops, hen parties, children’s workshops and birthday parties. Workshops teach guests how to make chocolates, prepare them at home, and store and present them. Children’s parties feature a chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows for dipping. The business also offers gift vouchers, valid for one year, and can provide quotes for parties. Bonbonniere serves customers in and around Shrewsbury, with event appearances listed on its calendar.
