Bondi MDP is a free, independent public transport service created by two students from Mar del Plata to help residents and visitors plan bus journeys around the city. Using official data from the Municipality of General Pueyrredón (MGP), it provides estimated arrival times based on vehicles’ live GPS positions, along with routes and stops for municipal bus lines, including line 221. Users can explore routes on an interactive map, check nearby stops using their phone’s location, plan trips between an origin and destination, and save frequently used stops for quick access.

The service also lets passengers rate lines and read other riders’ reviews. Bondi MDP requires an internet connection for real-time information, but no account or registration. It is available free through a web browser and can be installed as a progressive web app on Android and iPhone without visiting an app store.

The project is open source and supported by non-intrusive advertising and sponsors, with user feedback helping improve the service
