Ogasawara Marine Center, operated by the certified NPO Everlasting Nature, is dedicated to the conservation and study of marine wildlife, particularly the green turtle (Chelonia mydas). Located on Chichijima in the Ogasawara Islands, the center conducts various research activities including nesting site surveys, hatching studies, and head-starting programs to bolster turtle populations. With an annual rearing of approximately 200 baby turtles, visitors can learn about their life cycles and the ecological significance of these majestic creatures.
