Our founder's journey began in Nigeria in 2017 when they realized a lack of tasty and nutritious snack options on the market. Determined to find a solution, they sourced sustainable fruits and nuts and experimented with wild snack recipes in their kitchen.

With the help of a small group of beta testers, including avid snackers, our founder developed a signature coconut snack recipe that became an instant bestseller. Encouraged by the positive feedback, they expanded their snack repertoire to include a variety of fruits and nuts, officially launching the Bonita Foods brand. At Bonita's Treats, we are committed to creating guilt-free snacks without compromising sustainability.

We use abundant and locally sourced raw materials such as coconuts, peanuts, cashews, and bananas, minimizing wastage during harvest season. Additionally, we have partnered with local artisans to upcycle coconut shells into beautiful and functional products like coconut bowls and cutlery through our standalone sustainable brand, UWA BOWLS. Today, Bonita's Treats offers six snack categories across Nigeria and internationally through our Amazon store.
