About Bonneville County Sheriff's Office
Bonneville County Sheriff's Office is a trusted law enforcement agency serving the greater Idaho Falls area and the expansive Bonneville County in East Idaho, covering a vast area of 1900 square miles. Our dedicated team, led by Sheriff Sam Hulse, upholds a strong work ethic and prioritizes exceptional service to fulfill our mission. Our comprehensive services include a Detention team responsible for inmate safety, the Wood Rehabilitation Project, and work detail and work release programs.
Additionally, our Deputies ensure security at the Bonneville County Courthouse and facilitate inmate transportation for court proceedings. In serving the entire county, our Law Enforcement team handles patrol, investigations, and rescue functions, extending contracted services to the Cities of Ammon and Iona. Furthermore, we oversee the Civil Process and Drivers License Division, as well as Search and Rescue Operations within Bonneville County.
