About Bonniers Konsthall
Bonniers Konsthall is a dynamic brand that has been providing a platform for contemporary art and artists since its opening in 2006. With a focus on the methods and processes of art, Bonniers Konsthall engages in dialogues with visitors, exploring connections between art and other art forms such as literature, music, and film. By harnessing the power of art to interpret and envision the present, Bonniers Konsthall remains an essential and thought-provoking space.
As an international hub for contemporary art, Bonniers Konsthall showcases work from both emerging and established artists, constantly pushing boundaries and experimenting with new forms of artistic expression. The commitment to fostering knowledge about contemporary art is evident through exhibitions, publications, discussions, and collaborations. The knowledgeable staff, many of whom have their own artistic practices, are dedicated to providing an enriching experience for visitors.
Bonniers Konsthall's origins can be traced back to the Maria Bonnier Dahlins Foundation, established in 1985 by Jeanette Bonnier in memory of her daughter Maria. The foundation continues to support young Swedish artists through annual scholarships. Jeanette Bonnier founded Bonniers Konsthall as a physical embodiment of the foundation's work and her own love for art.
