Bonnorange

Its core responsibilities include waste collection, street cleaning and winter maintenance. Residents can check collection dates through a digital waste planner and find guidance in the Abfall ABC, which explains how to dispose of household items, recyclables and hazardous waste. The organization also provides information and services for bulky waste, electrical appliances, bins and other disposal needs.

For commercial customers, bonnorange offers advice, event cleaning, commercial paper collection, special collections and services such as supplementary waste bags and compostable-waste bags. It advises housing providers on underground waste systems and site planning. Beyond operational services, bonnorange promotes environmental education, reuse and waste prevention. Its ReUse work encourages people to extend the life of used goods, while the “Bonn geht den Mehrweg” initiative supports reusable systems to reduce single-use packaging.
