Boobies babies

Boobies & Babies is a Costa Rica-based maternal support practice led by María Laura Vega, known as Malala, a doula and breastfeeding counselor. Its approach centers on respect, warmth, and each mother’s choices, offering emotional, educational, and physical support rather than replacing medical care. Malala has accompanied more than 50 births and guided over 1,000 mothers through breastfeeding.

Services are available virtually, at home, or in a consulting office and can support families from pregnancy planning through postpartum. Offerings include childbirth preparation, breastfeeding consultations, continuous labor support, postpartum guidance, and gentle massages designed to ease tension and encourage connection with body and baby. The practice also offers Blessingway ceremonies, intimate gatherings that celebrate pregnancy through meaningful rituals and shared blessings.

Support is personalized to each family’s needs and may include prenatal sessions, birth accompaniment, and early postpartum consultations. The overall aim is to help mothers feel informed, calm, and supported through changing circumstances, while honoring their individual wishes and the path their maternity takes.
