Book and Paper Conservation Services, headed by Jennifer Robertson, BFA, MAC, is a renowned brand dedicated to preserving and conserving delicate paper-based materials, fine art on paper, and rare books. As an accredited conservator by the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators (CAPC) and a member of the Canadian Association For Conservation Of Cultural Property (CAC) and the American Institute for Conservation (AIC), Jennifer possesses the expertise and knowledge to safeguard various media and materials used in 18th and 19th-century artworks and archival materials. With a vast understanding of book materials and structures ranging from 15th-century vellum manuscripts to 20th-century publisher's bindings, Jennifer provides a comprehensive range of services, including full conservation treatment, preservation measures, and advice on proper storage and environmental conditions for collections.
After honing her skills through extensive training in prestigious institutions such as The New York Academy of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University Libraries, and The British Library, Jennifer founded Book and Paper Conservation Services in 2016 to fulfill her passion for preserving invaluable works.
