The Book Basket Company is an Australian gift retailer specialising in thoughtfully selected books for babies and young children. It offers book gift baskets and Little Book Gifts for newborns, babies and children up to around four years old, with delivery Australia-wide. The range includes options such as a Baby’s First Library basket and lift-the-flap book selections for ages one to two and three to four. These gifts are suited to baby showers, new arrivals, twins and first birthdays, and are presented as a way to encourage shared reading and a lasting interest in books.

The company chooses books for their engaging stories, appealing illustrations and age-appropriate language, with many sturdy board books designed for little hands. Its gift baskets also provide a practical place to store books as a child’s collection grows. The site notes that a supplier has stopped importing its baskets, so availability may be affected while a replacement is sought; customers can meanwhile explore the Little Book Gifts.
