BookDawg Sports is a Black-owned athletic supply brand focused on quality basketball gear for players, coaches, trainers, and programs. Describing itself as the first-ever Black-owned athletic supply company, the brand centers its products on durability, performance, and the demands of serious work on the court. Its lineup includes the H3AVY 3LB weighted training ball for practice, the Datw3rk indoor basketball, and the HARDWORK indoor game ball. BookDawg says each ball is made to meet a consistent standard, with products intended for people who want equipment that feels ready for demanding play and training.
The company’s story is rooted in observing basketball culture from the bleachers and developing gear that lives up to what athletes and coaches need. Customer comments featured on its site highlight the feel of the balls and their appeal to referees, trainers, and families. BookDawg Sports sells through its online shop and also offers a channel for bulk orders.
