Books for Languages is an Open Second Languages Publishing Company that aims to democratize second language teaching and learning. Our vision is to create reusable, modifiable, and sharable Open Educational Resources for teaching and learning second languages, providing unconstrained material for the benefit and enjoyment of others. At Books for Languages, our mission is to provide a place where teachers can find resources for their language courses without having to create them from scratch.

This allows them to personalize the materials to meet their students' particular needs. We also strive to create an environment where people can learn any language at their own pace, regardless of their mother tongue. We offer a wide range of Open Educational Resources, including digital books with audios, videos, exercises, and activities for learning different second languages.

Our materials are organized according to the recommendations on language policy of the Council of Europe, and we offer graduate courses at different levels based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Our unique system allows teachers to adapt the content to their specific needs or create their own materials and complement them with our audios or images. We offer the course split into four components (Vocabulary, Grammar, Orthography, and Cultural) to allow for better personalization and utilization by teachers.

Our Integrated Foreign Language Curriculum ensures that students of different languages share the same objectives and textual samples in the target language. We also adapt our courses to the language of the students, providing a version of the content in their native language for lower levels (A1-A2). This allows us to offer e-learning and blended learning classes, resulting in savings of up to 60% compared to traditional teaching methods.

With our Action-Oriented materials, we enable the teaching of the four skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking) in a collaborative and cooperative manner.
