Pobunjene čitateljke is a collective of young literary critics from the countries that emerged on the territory of Yugoslavia. They critically read, analyze, and scrutinize the local and translated literary production from feminist and related engaged perspectives such as queer, Marxist, decolonial, and ecocritical. They rebel against uncritical celebrations of authority on the literary scene and against reducing literary criticism to a marketing tool.

They resist established approaches in literary scenes that they recognize as mechanisms of exclusion. Instead, through intergenerational, regional, and international solidarity, they join the growing and powerful voice of women in literature and society as a whole.
