Boom-Boom Rencontres is a private online club for women aged 50 and over, from all backgrounds, who want to explore friendship, community, dating, or love with other women. Its welcoming approach lets each member decide what she is looking for, without pressure to fit a particular mould or define herself in one way.
The project is being developed in stages. Its first member space, the Salon, is planned to offer monthly quizzes, video gatherings, a journal, initial introductions, and a calendar of meetups proposed by members. Women will also be able to suggest in-person activities near where they live. A larger dating platform and an app are planned for 2027, alongside written features, podcasts, locally organised outings, and a curated online shop.
For now, visitors can sign up to follow the project and receive updates, take a short quiz, and learn about the community’s plans. Boom-Boom Rencontres aims to make online participation approachable, with accessible design and support by email, while creating a warm space for women to connect on their own terms.
