BoomYoga

Boom&Yoga is a children’s yoga practice based in Sittard, founded by Christa Boom in 2017. Drawing on her background in education and training in children’s, therapeutic children’s and teen yoga, Christa creates a safe, creative space where children can move, relax and explore at their own pace. The practice’s approach values each child as they are and encourages self-awareness, confidence and personal growth.

Boom&Yoga offers yoga classes for children and teenagers, as well as parent-and-child yoga, workshops and sessions at schools or out-of-school care settings. Its activities also include creative yoga, hut-building adventures and children’s parties. Through movement, play and relaxation exercises, participants can practise becoming stronger and more flexible, while learning ways to find calm and manage feelings such as anger, sadness, nervousness or fear. The exercises can also be used at home or school when needed. Boom&Yoga serves children, parents and educators, with the aim of giving children the space and support to grow and flourish.
