About Boost Turku
Boost Turku is a non-profit association that has been inspiring growth-minded young students and entrepreneurs since 2009. They are a community of like-minded ambitious students, hosting and being involved in 100+ events annually. Boost Turku also organizes an 8-week accelerator program called Startup Journey every summer since 2011, providing a platform for entrepreneurs to grow and succeed.
Boost Turku serves as a stomping ground for entrepreneurs from all fields of commerce, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Their team, led by the Chairperson of the Board, Leevi Mäkikalli, is dedicated to creating an entrepreneurship ecosystem that supports early stage entrepreneurs, raising successful startups and entrepreneurial-minded students in Turku. They aim to bridge the gap between wanting to start a business and actually starting one.
