Boquet River Association

Boquet River Association (BRASS) is a charitable organization dedicated to improving water quality in New York’s Boquet River Watershed and enhancing the lives of its residents. The association works to support clean water, healthy ecosystems, thriving communities, and the river’s diverse natural and working landscapes. Its work encompasses watershed planning, river restoration, erosion control, culvert assessment, and wetland monitoring. BRASS also shares information about the Boquet River through maps, daily flow data, and recreation resources, helping people learn about and enjoy the watershed.

The organization offers educational and practical resources, including publications, selected articles, FEMA flood maps, and information for volunteers. Its news and newsletters highlight restoration projects, river reconnection, workshops, and other community activities. BRASS invites residents and supporters to become members, volunteer, subscribe to updates, purchase merchandise, or donate to its work. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it welcomes tax-deductible contributions in support of clean water and healthy ecosystems. Based in Willsboro, New York, the association also works with partners to advance its mission across the watershed.
