Baytree Owl and Raptor Centre (BORC) is a charitable organisation in Weston, near Spalding, Lincolnshire, offering family visits and educational experiences focused on owls and birds of prey. One of the county’s longest-running centres of its kind, it has welcomed visitors for more than 30 years. Its collection includes over 60 owls and other birds of prey, and its breeding programme contributes to global conservation efforts. The centre’s guiding approach is conservation through education and participation.
Visitors can attend flying demonstrations and book hands-on experiences featuring owls, birds of prey, eagles and vultures. Options include sessions for children and families, photography experiences, and seasonal evening events with extended displays. BORC also offers school and group visits, free online learning resources for primary-age pupils, and species information through its EncyclOWLpedia.
People can support the charity through annual bird adoption packages, which include items such as a certificate, photograph and fact sheet. The online shop also sells experience vouchers, annual passes and owl-themed gifts.
