BPD Alliance

The BPD Alliance, also known as the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, advocacy, and support for individuals and families affected by borderline personality disorder (BPD) and chronic emotion dysregulation. Established in 2001 by Dr. Perry Hoffman, the BPD Alliance aims to reduce the suffering associated with these conditions by providing clear, compassionate information, and resources.

The organization specializes in a variety of services including educational materials, personal stories, and evidence-based treatment options. It offers programs such as Family Connections™, which supports loved ones of individuals with BPD, and initiatives focused on managing suicidality and trauma recovery. The BPD Alliance also hosts events and webinars to share the latest research and practical skills while fostering a supportive community. With its extensive library and advocacy efforts, the BPD Alliance strives to enhance awareness, decrease stigma, and ultimately improve the quality of life for those affected by BPD.
