Giuseppe Borsalino, affectionately known as u siur Pipen (Master Joe), was born in Italy in 1834. His passion for hat-making led him to apprentice in his hometown of Alessandria, where he honed his craft for seven years. After becoming a certified Master Hatter, Borsalino established his first workshop in Via Schiavina, Alessandria.

This marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey that would inspire generations. Today, Borsalino is synonymous with sophistication, quality, and elegance.
