In addition to his love for surfboarding, Chris also excelled in skateboarding, having a successful career as a professional vert skater for Powell Skateboards and Billabong/Hurley.

Today, Chris has retired from competitive skateboarding to exclusively focus on Borst Designs and his shaping machine business.
