BostedDanmark

BostedDanmark is a specialist residential and day-service provider for adults in Haslev, south of Copenhagen. It supports people with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, challenging or self-injurious behaviour, epilepsy, and additional psychiatric diagnoses. Its four locations—Hytterkroggaard, Postgaarden, Sofiendal and Det Gamle Apothek—include farms, a town house and a country estate in peaceful surroundings.

The organisation aims to create a home-like, safe and predictable environment, with structured support designed around each person’s needs and understanding of quality of life. Residents have private apartments alongside shared spaces for meals, activities and social time. Staff are present around the clock, including awake night staff, and help residents build calm, structure and enjoyment in daily life. Support draws on specialist autism pedagogy, health care and personal care. The multidisciplinary team includes educators, teachers, nurses, and nutrition advisers, with an affiliated psychiatrist and regular medical practice. BostedDanmark also provides activities and social opportunities, while working with families and municipal partners to find suitable support for each individual.
