er Bostedet Dyssemosen

Bostedet Dyssemosen is a self-governing residential community for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, including people who may also have a psychiatric diagnosis. Located on a rural farm east of Nykøbing Falster, near Vordingborg and Maribo, it offers a welcoming home surrounded by fields, nature and animals. The facility is approved for seven residential places and seven day-service places, and welcomes residents from across Zealand and elsewhere in Denmark.

Services include accommodation and support under sections 107 and 108 of Denmark’s Social Services Act, as well as day provision under section 104. Residents take part in shared daily work, including caring for farm animals and tending the large vegetable garden, fruit orchard and grounds. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, local community outings, annual holidays, and seasonal music and art classes arranged with another residential community.

The farm’s animals include sheep, rabbits, geese, ducks, hens and Shetland ponies. Dyssemosen is supervised by Socialtilsyn Øst and encourages prospective residents and families to get in touch for further information
