About Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park
The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is a Cayman Islands attraction dedicated to showcasing the natural beauty, culture, and history of Grand Cayman. Located on 65 acres off Frank Sound Road in North Side, the park is owned by the Cayman Islands Government and the National Trust for the Cayman Islands, organizations that work to conserve the islands’ natural environments. Visitors can explore seven main attractions: the Visitor Centre, Floral Garden, Orchid Boardwalk, Xerophytic Garden, Heritage Garden, Woodland Trail, and Children’s Garden, which is under development.
The grounds also feature a lake that provides habitat for native and rare birds, along with varied plants, butterflies, and other wildlife. A key feature is the Blue Iguana Conservation Facility, where visitors may see the endangered Grand Cayman Blue Iguana, found only on the island. The park offers guided tours, seasonal events such as orchid shows, wedding venue services, and a visitor centre with a gift shop and refreshments
