Bottomtime

Its collection focuses on caves, mines, and wrecks, offering divers and other visitors a way to explore these environments virtually. The models are created by divers using footage captured with 360-degree cameras, then made available to view and navigate directly in a web browser. This browser-based experience lets users fly through a site and examine its spaces without requiring a separate application, based on the information provided.

The website also provides documentation and information about privacy and licensing, along with contact details for visitors who want to get in touch. Models on the site are shared under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license unless a different license is specifically noted. That licensing information helps users understand the terms for sharing and reuse. By combining diver-captured imagery with navigable 3D presentations, bottomtime makes selected underwater locations accessible for online exploration and offers a digital way to experience dive sites beyond the water.
