Bouie Foundation

The Bouie Foundation is a volunteer-led charitable organization serving youth in Western and Central New York. Its mission is to support the healthy development and education of underprivileged and financially challenged children by providing dedicated places to sleep and study, while also introducing young people to the sport of fishing. The foundation’s 50Winks Sleep and Study program offers exclusively designed, hand-built loft beds with built-in desks, along with a mattress, bedding, delivery, and setup at no cost to recipients.

Through Anglers with Aspiration, the foundation provides free fishing education, including progressive courses that teach basic skills and encourage character building and unity. The program also seeks to create opportunities for inner-city youth and children with disabilities to experience fishing. The organization welcomes young people of all races, genders, orientations, and abilities, and promotes friendship, tolerance, and inclusion.

The Bouie Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. It welcomes donations and community involvement to support its programs
