Boulderhal Luchthaven is a spacious indoor bouldering gym in Amsterdam, offering a welcoming place for beginners and experienced climbers alike. Bouldering is rope-free climbing on lower walls, so visitors can get started without a compulsory course. The activity develops strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination and agility, while its social atmosphere makes it accessible to a wide range of people.
The gym features climbing holds, an extensive training area, hangboards and workout equipment, as well as a large Kilter Board and a mirrored Tension Board 2, set at varying angles. Courses and training are available for participants from age six through to adults over 50, and youth activities include a summer camp with climbing, sports and games. The venue also hosts events and groups.
After a session, visitors can relax at the bar or on the sunny terrace, with coffee, cake, fresh meals and beer available. Boulderhal Luchthaven is part of a wider network of Dutch bouldering gyms, where its membership and punch card can also be used.
