Boulderhal Nirvana

Boulderhal Nirvana is a bouldering gym in Scheveningen, The Hague, offering indoor climbing close to the coast. Visitors can drop in without a reservation, and newcomers are welcome: an instructor provides a free introductory lesson, after which climbers can try the routes independently. Entry is paid, with climbing-shoe rental available for an additional charge.

For those seeking more guidance or a sociable first session, Nirvana hosts Boulder Basics meet-ups on Mondays and Thursdays. Experienced climbers join participants on the wall and share practical tips, whether they are tackling their first routes or working on more challenging climbs. No advance sign-up is required, and meet-up guidance is included with admission, a subscription, or a multi-visit pass.

The gym also lists activities and services for children, youth, groups, and schools, alongside climbing clinics, yoga, a physiotherapy consultation service, a shop, equipment rental, and practice rooms. Its subscription provides access to other bouldering gyms in the Netherlands, making Nirvana a welcoming option for both local climbers and visitors.
