Boundless Basketball

Boundless Basketball is an Aotearoa-based youth athletic development and education service for aspiring student and professional basketball players. Its central offering, the Term-Turnaround Academy, is a year-round programme delivered in terms for selected prospects aged 9 and above. Based in Hamilton, with plans for additional locations, the academy has limited places in each age group.

Coaching is designed to guide athletes progressively through stages of basketball development. Each term focuses on one of four facets of the game: jump-shooting, dribble-drive, playmaking or defense. The programme is intended to turn participants’ interest in basketball into a sustained investment in their skills and development. Boundless also provides information about its current programme through a brochure and invites prospective participants to apply for academy places.

The organisation describes its approach as backed by a “Pro-perspective Guarantee” and cites past local, national, professional and overseas athlete outcomes, including results from a limited volunteer pilot in 2020. Boundless positions its services as focused on athletic and basketball skill development for young players.
