Bowmen of Wadebridge (BOW) is a dedicated target archery club established in 1987 by Roy and Gwen Skipper. With a focus on amateur archery, BOW welcomes enthusiasts of all skill levels, specializing in recurve, compound, and longbows, while refraining from accommodating crossbows. The club operates primarily at the picturesque Colquite Estate during summer, featuring a range that supports up to 40 archers across 10 targets, with shooting distances of up to 100 yards. In the winter months, members gather at the Royal Cornwall Showground on Wednesdays and Fridays.

BOW is guided by a member-elected committee, ensuring transparency and community engagement, with meeting details and minutes publicly available. The club not only hosts regular shooting sessions but also offers taster days for newcomers, complete with qualified coaching and all necessary equipment provided.
