Box & Breathe is a boxing and combat gym based in Shellharbour, serving the Illawarra community. Its welcoming, ego-free environment is designed for all ages and abilities, from people trying boxing for the first time to experienced athletes and aspiring fighters. Coaches tailor sessions to individual goals, whether members want to improve fitness, lose weight, learn self-defence, build confidence or compete.
The gym offers adult boxing, kids’ boxing and a dedicated women’s program, alongside Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for grappling and self-defence. Strength and mobility training, programmed by an accredited exercise scientist, supports members’ overall movement and boxing development. Box & Breathe also provides inclusive boxing-based sessions for NDIS participants, focused on fitness, confidence and discipline.
With more than 40 classes each week, members can choose a schedule that suits them and train with ongoing coaching and community support. The gym welcomes beginners and offers a free first class. Membership is advertised at $50 per week for unlimited training, with no lock-in contract or joining fee
