Boxt euch durch München

Boxt euch durch München is a nonprofit social initiative founded in 2015 to support children and young people facing social disadvantage in Munich. Guided by the belief that healthy nutrition, sport and education can help build a self-determined future, the organization provides a comprehensive after-school program for young people aged 14 to 18 living below the poverty line, with inclusive support for disabled children.

Participants share a healthy, warm lunch and learn about balanced eating by preparing meals together, including dishes from their home countries. Daily boxing and kickboxing sessions help develop fitness, concentration, discipline, confidence and respect. The program also offers daily homework assistance, targeted tutoring and individual one-to-one support when needed.

The work is delivered by a qualified team of social educators, youth workers, boxing trainers and volunteers. Founded by Michaela Schubert, the initiative is supported by kickboxing world champion Marie Lang as its patron. Boxt euch durch München also welcomes financial donations and volunteer involvement to help sustain its services and provide young people with practical support for school and everyday life.
