Juarez Boxing

Juárez Boxing is a Birmingham-area boxing and fitness business serving the community for more than 20 years. Led by Martin, a retired professional boxer and second-generation boxer, it offers instruction for people at varied fitness and experience levels. Martin began training at age nine, competed in more than 100 amateur matches, and won the Golden Gloves twice.

The gym’s boot camps combine punching, defensive drills, footwork, bag work, and mitt work to develop stamina, agility, coordination, strength, and overall fitness. Participants can choose group classes, buddy sessions, one-on-one training, or sessions specifically with Coach Martin. Juárez Boxing also operates PD Fight Club, a Parkinson’s exercise program that uses boxing-based activities to support dexterity, balance, flexibility, strength, and physical conditioning.

For aspiring competitors, the gym provides fight training and is home to several undefeated fighters across different weight classes and divisions. Located in Irondale, Alabama, Juárez Boxing presents its workouts as challenging, adaptable, and enjoyable, with the goal of helping clients improve their fitness and boxing skills without requiring them to take hits.
