Animados por Monseñor Leonardo Gómez Serna O.P., se convoca al sector empresarial y comunitario de la provincia del Occidente de Boyacá, para hacer parte del PDP Boyapaz, actuando bajo los principios de respeto a la vida y la dignidad de la persona humana, la justicia y la equidad social, la democracia participativa y la convivencia pacífica en armonía con la naturaleza.

Programa de Desarrollo y Paz Boyapaz is a brand that emerged in 2016 as an initiative of the Diocese of Chiquinquirá, under the leadership of Bishop Monseñor Luis Felipe Sánchez Aponte. Inspired by Monseñor Leonardo Gómez Serna O. P., the brand brings together businesses and communities in the province of Occidente de Boyacá, operating under the principles of respect for life and human dignity, social justice and equity, participatory democracy, and peaceful coexistence in harmony with nature.
Drawing from the experience of development and peace programs that originated in Colombia in 1995, particularly in the Magdalena Medio region, Boyapaz is now one of the 24 programs nationwide, united through the national network of regional development and peace programs (Redprodepaz). Their mission is to transform conflicts, strengthen capacities, and guide social organizations towards peace and integral development. Boyapaz also fosters cultural exchange and youth engagement through El Parche Cultural, which promotes peace and holistic development through the recognition of diversity.
