Boylermaker Charters is a fly fishing and light tackle guide service based on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Operated by Captain Jaime Boyle, a lifelong islander with more than 30 years of experience on local waters, the business offers guided saltwater fishing trips for anglers of all experience levels. Its charters target striped bass, bluefish, false albacore and bonito, with opportunities to fish salt ponds, coastal flats, inshore rips and the waters around the Elizabeth Islands.
The season runs from May through November, with striped bass and bluefish commonly found inshore from June to September and false albacore fishing picking up offshore in August. Guests can choose half-day or full-day trips, and fishing gear and flies are provided. Captain Boyle’s knowledge of local tides, underwater structure and baitfish helps shape each outing.
Boylermaker Charters welcomes both first-time saltwater fly fishers and experienced anglers seeking a Martha’s Vineyard fishing experience. Trips can be booked online, or by calling (508) 922-1749
