Blackland Prairie Raptor Center (BPRC) is a raptor rehabilitation and conservation organization based in Lucas, Texas, near the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Named for the historic Texas tallgrass prairie, the center works to support birds of prey and other wildlife through rehabilitation, habitat restoration, education, and research. It operates North Texas’s only facility dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing sick and injured raptors, and accepts injured birds at its hospital by appointment; the hospital is not open for public visits.

BPRC also restores its 66-acre campus to Blackland Prairie habitat and offers educational programs that help people learn about raptors and the natural world. Its activities include field trips, raptor experiences, owl pellet projects, scout programs, and public events such as First Saturdays, family campouts, and raptor photo days. Visitors can book educational events or rent facilities for private gatherings, including birthday parties, weddings, and elopements. The center welcomes community support through donations and volunteering, and provides opportunities to sponsor a raptor or attend a release when available.
